Outside of being a funky sweet little treat, Funny Face
is committed to the idea that healthy eating can and should be FUN. In
back-to-school fashion, this August and September, Decas, the maker of
Funny Face Dried Cranberries, is re-launching their Funny Friends in
convenient, new raisin-like containers – perfect for lunch boxes.
Each of the small boxes offers the perfectly portioned snack. I like the box size because it fits great it my diaper bag, purse, stroller and basically anything I carry. No stops for snacks on car rides because I like to keep easy to eat snacks in the van at all times and these are perfect for such an occasion.
My oldest daughter just started kindergarten so I have just begun my journey on packing school lunches. I want them tasty and good for her but I also want her to like them and I like to keep changing it up so she is never bored with my offerings. These Funny Face Cranberries are great to put in her lunch because she is easily able to open the container on her own and giving her a pack once or twice a week keeps lunch interesting.
These are definitely not just for kids. I like to sprinkle some in my salad or I have been known to devour a box all on my own. I would even take these for team snacks after my girls’ soccer games. These not only have a cute name but they are yummy with just the right amount of flavor to keep them from being overly tart. They are a complete win in our house.
