I love singing. I can pretty much bust out most of the lyrics to every song and be fairly on tune. I may not sound the best, but I’m not terrible, so my husband and friends don’t mind terribly. Due to my love of singing, I absolutely love doing karaoke. Unfortunately with a little one at home, I just don’t get to go out that often to sing to my heart’s content. The Singing Machine Karaoke Mobile Karaoke App is easy and fun to use. You can download it from the iTunes App Store for free and it can be used on an iPad, iPhone, or iTouch. There is a large selection of free songs already on the app that are updated monthly and you also have the option to purchase a subscription. I like that you get a video with the lyrics on this app instead of just getting the blue screen like you would on your TV. Even if you’re out and about and not near your Singing Machine, you can still use this app wherever you go.
I love that you can also use this without an iPhone, iPad, or iTouch. If you have CD+G, you put the CD into the machine and hook the karaoke machine up to your TV. It’s really easy to do as you’re just plugging in the red, white, and yellow cords. The lyrics will appear on your TV and the music will play as well. There’s also a USB port on the machine that will allow you to display the lyrics on your TV if you have MP3+G songs on there.
Using it this way makes for a great party feature. Everyone can bring their own favorites on a USB stick and it’s nice to have the lyrics so largely displayed. We tend to have our friends over once a month to hang out and I think this would be a great way for us to have some fun. There are a lot of great party ideas out there on how to throw a fun karaoke party. Here’s a great idea for a School’s Out for Summer Party.

The sound quality on this machine is great and I didn’t experience any echo when we were singing. It looks sleek and blends in nicely with my TV and other home entertainment devices. I love that it’s bluetooth compatible as well and it’s just overall a well made, quality machine.
