In Florida it’s basically always summer. Unfortunately that means bugs are buzzing almost all year around. For anyone that knows me, I am afraid of wasps. I’ve been stung by them before and it’s not pleasant, not to mention I don’t want my little one to be stung either. I always get a little nervous playing outside with my son because I always see so many wasps, but now with OrnamenTrap from RESCUE! I have one less thing to worry about.

What kills the insects?:
Once inside the trap, yellowjackets drown in the water.
Set up of the OrnamenTrap is really easy. The trap itself is basically one unit. You pull it out of the package and pull up the top circle part until it pops into place. On the bag that’s filled with the wasp attractant, you will see two lines: dissolve and activate.
You insert the trap bag first into the decorative holder. Then you screw the larger circle into the decorative part. Take the trap outside and fill with warm water to the dissolve line. Wait 5 minutes and then add more warm water until you reach the activate line. That’s it! Now you’ve got a beautiful looking wasp trap. Be sure to do this in the early evening or morning when wasps are least active and wash your hands after setting up.
I honestly really love these traps. They look so pretty, almost like a lantern, and guests will have absolutely no clue that they’re bug traps. The first day we already had one wasp in there and let’s just say I was pretty excited. You can also get the OrnamenTrap insert for flies and they have plenty of other bug products as well.
I think it’s great all of their products are environmentally friendly and green. I get nervous using serious pest control chemicals in and around my home because we have a little one and because I personally don’t want to be around those type of substances either. It’s nice knowing there’s a company out there like RESCUE that cares not only about effective pest control, but safe pest control too.
