My Nugget loves the freedom to move around outside. From his clothes all the way down to his shoes, he likes to be comfortable and for things to be lightweight. Many times when we’re outside, he just wants to take his shoes off, but he couldn’t wait to wear his new Miller shoes from Native Shoes outside to test them out.
Native shoes are BPA and phthalate free and do not contain any hazardous materials. They are also made from EVA.
EVA is the common name for ethylene-vinyl acetate. These weird words translate into a feeling of cool and cushy freedom for your feet. Think of EVA as the marshmallow that never melts; the spring in your step. The natural characteristics of the material make it great for footwear because it molds to your feet. It’s also incredibly lightweight, shock absorbent, washable, waterproof, and odor-resistant.
Native Shoes help take care of the environment too. They have a low-emmission manufacturing process and since the shoes are injection molded it’s low waste as well. Their shoes contain no animal by-products and are all packaged and shipped in recyclable materials.
These are honestly some very cool shoes. They’re incredibly lightweight and my son said they felt good on his feet. I love how breathable they are and yet despite the holes in them, his feet don’t get dirty. Living in Florida it gets hot and his feet get sweaty, so I really like that they’re odor proof and waterproof (for both the sweat and the endless amounts of rain we get). They also clean up easily and I can just wash and rinse them off in no time.
The Miller shoes are from their new fall collection. I just discovered they make some of their shoes with prints which I cannot wait to get for him. Native Shoes are perfect for kids and adults as they’re super comfortable and lightweight. I will most definitely continue to buy these for my Nugget in the future and may even have to buy a pair for myself.
