They are created with the help of a leading Ph.D. animal nutritionist, long-time Canadian medical professionals and animal lovers Adrian and Pamela Pettyan. I really like that Caru means ?to love? in Welsh since I sure do love my dog!
The natural stews are packed in convenient, recyclable and BPA-free Tetra Pak cartons which for right now is a first for U.S. made pet food. They are made with USDA-inspected, antibiotic and hormone free meat or poultry, with no ingredients from China. They are packaged and will be fresh for up to two years without any preserves. They are also prepared in small batches right here in the U.S. They can be served by themselves or serve it like I do as a mix in “gravy” to my dog’s dry dog food. My 75 pound poochikins runs to her food when this is in it and she furiously eats until every last morsel is gone. Judging by her reaction this would be a giant two paws up.
They also have soft ?n tasty natural treats. What I really like is that they start with real meat or poultry as the first ingredient and no parts are from China. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they include blueberries and cranberries in them. They have no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors and are naturally preserved and made in small batches.

look, smell and taste like homemade. After giving these to my pooch for
the last few weeks I can honestly say these stews look like actual food
compared to the disgusting mush that I normally see in canned dog food. The treats look like real jerky and even my cat will paw at the bag if I leave it laying around so they must smell good to animals too.
The inspiration for the Caru brand stems from the Pettyan’s love for their own family dog ? also named Karu! I enjoy seeing a company care so much for animals and I like that when I give my dog Caru products I am giving her the best stuff I can and my pooch definitely is eager to eat up these stews and treats so it must taste delicious too!
