With two young girls I can say that in this house we are extremely big fans of Sophia the First on Disney Junior. It is all about a young girl and her mother that join the royal family where she then becomes a princess. She also goes to a special school for princes and princesses which is pretty much the setting for success. My girls are constantly walking around with their amulets just like Sophia and telling me they too can talk to animals. We really enjoy the newest DVD collection Sophia the First: The Enchanted Feast.
The wicked fairy, Miss Nettle, disguises herself as a powerful sorceress and attempts to steal Sofia’s magical amulet. With the help of Snow White?Sofia must learn to trust her instincts and speak up when she suspects someone is not who or what they say they are.

All the episodes on this DVD are really cute but of course the best part is that Sophia gets a little help from Snow White. I love seeing classic princesses when they make an appearance on Sophie the First.
Definitely check out the Sophie the First Section on the Disney Junior website as it is full of fun games, videos and printables to keep little ones entertained. My five year old would sit and play the fun and quick little games all day if I let her. Sophia the First is one of those shows that I am always willing to snuggle up with my girls on the sofa and watch with. Sophia always learns from her mistakes and is kind to others and both of those are qualities I hope my girls learn and seeing it in a cartoon only helps get the message across even better. This is the perfect DVD for any Disney Junior fan.
