We have been doing a family game night once a week for the last few years and it is easily one of our favorite parts of the week. I just love the family time we have together and it gives us all something fun to look forward to each week. We normally do it once my toddler is in bed because she was just too young to play along but now with the toddler board games from HABA she can play along too!

My Very First Games – Here, Fishy, Fishy! is so adorable and lots of fun! When it is a player’s turn you roll the die to see which color fish you have to get. If you catch the fish with the fishing pole then you get to put the correct color piece into your game board. First person to fill their game board wins. This game teaches some important skills like learning to take turns, counting, colors, gross motor skills, how to be patient and even learn how to be a good loser.
This quality time each week includes no distractions. We turn off the TV, music and our phones are put away. I hope that these precious moments of our family times together are remembered years down the road!
I just love that with their line of board games for toddlers that my 2 and a half year old can start enjoying game night with us! I have always been a big fan of HABA toys and they continue to impress me with their innovative new games and their extremely nice quality.
