I love a good girl’s night. Sometimes I just need some female interaction to get back into reality. I’m telling you, living with all males can be a bit different at times! Anyway, so back on point here; I had a friend over for a chick flick last week. We watched Bridesmaids, one of my favorite movies.
Part of the purpose of this “girl’s night” {aside from just getting together for some laughs} was a Febreze Noseblind Test. You see, many humans suffer from noseblindness and don’t always recognize some of the scents in their homes as malodorous. These odors stay airborne or deposit on soft surfaces like your furniture.
But luckily Febreze contains Cyclodextrin, which traps and eliminates bad odors, leaving you with a nice pleasant scent. I live in a house full of animals and while their scent isn’t always apparent to me, it is to other people. Thankfully, it’s just a faint scent, but it’s still a scent I don’t want my home to smell like nonetheless.
I made some popcorn for our movie and before I knew it, that was all that either of us could smell throughout the house. Mmmm, the buttery goodness smell was divine. But then it got old after awhile.
Once we were done with the movie and popcorn, I lit a Febreze candle and sprayed some air freshener in the room. Within a matter of minutes, that was all that you could smell throughout the house and boy did it sure smell good – just like fresh meadows and rain.
Now I’ll admit, I’ve used the fabric freshener from Febreze before, but I’d never tried the candles before. I’ve only used the air freshener a few times prior to this experience. I was and am quite happy with the results of all of these products. They not only covered up the scents of my house, but seemed to eliminate them as well.
