Nugget was thrilled when he opened the MOTORWORKS NGX NextGen Stock 3.0 car; he was so excited to have a race car! I love how durable this car is. He has raced it, crashed it, and even thrown it, and it has held up wonderfully. I know this is going to be a car that lasts him for years to come. We both really liked the decals – he thought they looked like flames and exclaimed that the flames help the car to go faster.
Nugget wasn’t sure what the MOTORWORKS Slingshot Speed Launcher was at first, but as soon as I showed him how it worked, he was hooked and ready to launch his cars. He not only used it with the NextGen Stock car, but he made sure to try it with almost every car, truck, or train he owned. Every time he launched the car, he would squeal about how fast they were going.
Again, I really love the durability of this piece. The plastic parts are thick and sturdy and I think the non-slip pads on the bottom are great. The Slingshot Speed Launcher comes with 3 rubber bands in case one gets lost or breaks. I also think it’s great that the pull-back lever on this locks into place so you have the ability to get your car in there and aimed without worry that it’ll accidentally go off before you’re ready to launch your car.
I can’t wait to get some other vehicles and sets from MOTORWORKS. I know Nugget will really enjoy the accessory kits which will allow him to customize his vehicles. The mix and match elements add to the fun and versatility of their products. Any car loving child (or adult) will absolutely love the vehicles and sets from MOTORWORKS.
