Shakes, smoothies and ice cold drinks are what summer is all about. That’s why I thought Ninja would be a perfect inclusion in our Sizzlin’ Summer Event! I was supplied with a Nutri Ninja to test out, which is perfect for all sorts of things like frozen blending, chopping, nutrient & vitamin extraction and dressings. With the Nutri Ninja, you’re left with everything at the end.
- With the Nutri Ninja? you can break down fruits, vegetables, greens, and seeds – all without requiring any liquid.
- Blend frozen smoothies and desserts in seconds.
- Leave nothing left unprocessed with even and consistent chopping.
The Nujtri Ninja comes with a 24 and 18 oz cup – each with a lid, so they’re easy enough to take on the go. They’re BPA free and dishwasher safe, so clean up is a breeze!
Since the kids are home on summer vacation, I’ve been doing my best to try to keep them occupied. They both enjoy spending time in the kitchen, so i thought it would be fun to make some smoothies. My Nutri Ninja came with all sorts of great recipes, but I thought we’d do one that I knew for sure the kids would enjoy – Strawberry Smoothies!
We gathered some strawberries, ice and a little water and set to work. Set up and use was easy. We just had to put our ingredients in, screw on the cap, put it on the base and push down in short increments. The Nutri Ninja is so easy to use in fact, that I will most likely use it for most of my blending needs instead of my regular blender!
This is also easy for the kids to use, which is great because they always want to make smoothies. I don’t always want to make smoothies, so now they can just make their own!
Our Strawberry Smoothie turned out absolutely delicious and I’m sure you’ll love it too. It’s just 3 simple ingredients and you can find the recipe below!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen (or fresh) strawberries
- 2 cups ice
- 1/2 cup water
Directions:
Load your 24 oz cup with 1/2 cup strawberries, ice, then remaining 1/2 cup strawberries. Screw on the bladed lid and put onto Nutri Ninja. Push down and pulse in short few second increments. Add 1/2 cup water and pulse a few more times. Take cup off base, remove lid, pour into glasses or screw on take and go lid and enjoy!
