We love playing games in our house. My husband and I have been known to play games on a Friday night and we love having our friends over for game nights. Nugget is a little young to play any board games with us, but I know within the next year or two we’ll be playing kids games with him and I cannot wait. Although we have a lot of classic board games, it gets a little old playing them. If you’re looking to spice up your game selection with something new, then look no further than R&R Games.
Most of the games at R&R are geared towards slightly older kids (ages 8+ up) and family and party games, so I was thrilled when I saw they had the Hide and Seek Safari animals. I knew this would be perfect for Nugget as he’s just starting to show some interest in playing hide and seek. The panda comes with a wand and when you push the button he makes a panda sound. As you walk around trying to find the panda, you use his sound as a guide.?
I showed my son how it worked and he immediately caught on. We played with the panda for close to an hour and only stopped because it was dinner time. As soon as he woke up this morning he asked me to hide the panda. I know this is going to be a favorite toy of his for a long time.
I decided to get AttrAction for Hubby and I. We can be very competitive with each other when it comes to game time so I knew this would be a great game for us. It’s very quick to play and honestly pretty addictive. You basically line up these magnets around the table and flick them at each other. If your magnet sticks to another one (or a group of them) you get to keep them and the one with the most magnets wins. I can’t wait to try this out for game night next time because I think it will be a lot of fun with our friends.?
Another fun game they have is called Time’s Up!?
Time’s Up? is the original game of celebrity charades, turned up! It’s a hilarious race through the Deck of Fame where your team competes in three fun-filled rounds to guess who’s who to win. But time is ticking, and you’re scrambling to get your partner to identify the name on your card. Got it right? Grab another! Rounds get a little trickier as the game goes on. Can you describe Beyonce? How about in just one word? Great, but now it’s round three … BE Beyonce!
Although we didn’t get this game, it’s on my list of new games to get. I love charades and am a celebrity gossip junky so this is perfect for me.
