I have the beach on the brain! The hubs and I are heading to Cancun for our 10th year anniversary in approximately 5 days! So, of course, that's?all?we've been thinking about these last few weeks. Normally we take the kids on some sort of vacation throughout the year and usually 9 times out of 10 it's been a beach vacation. We've collected so many seashells throughout these trips and I thought it was about time to do something with them and create this DIY seashell frame
DIY Seashell Frame
The star frame you see there is from a friend. I've had it on a shelf for a few years now and I thought it was time to up-cycle it. I love the color of it, but the stars had to go!
The first thing you need to do is gather your supplies:
- Frame
- Sea-Shells
- Hot glue gun
That's all you need, 3 simple supplies!
Then arrange the shells on the frame, until you like it.
Start gluing the shells onto the frame. The glue dries quickly so you'll want to do this fast!
That's it! The frame is ready to be placed somewhere as soon as you're finished!
This is a quick craft. I think the whole thing took me 30 minutes from start to finish!
So if you have old sea-shells laying around, or if you're heading to the beach this summer don't forget this easy and simple craft.
This sea-shell frame added some texture and fun to my shelf! Oh and it was totally free!
