It’s Spring Break in many communities across the state and parents everywhere are trying to find fun, yet educational things for their kids to do during their time away from school. Well I’ve got great news for you, because the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio in the Milwaukee Art Museum will be open all day, every day from 10am to 4pm now until Easter Sunday!
The studio theme for April is “Spring Loaded” so kids and their families are invited to mine the Museum’s Collection for nature-themed inspiration. Then you can drop by the Studio to create flower paintings, and mixed-media sculptures from found objects! You might also want to check out Uncommon Folk: Traditions in American Art with nearly 600 whimsical objects.
