~I received Lindt products for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions and stories are my own.~
If you had read my post about Lindt around Valentine’s Day then you know I absolutely love their chocolates, especially the Lindor truffles! This Easter has brought out the wonderful creative side of Lindt as well as their support for what April also stands for, Autism Awareness.
One of Lindt’s newest Easter Products is the special Lindt Gold Bunny Ears package. It comes with plush golden bunny ears and a 1.7oz hollow milk chocolate bunny. It’s also the only little bunny that gives back by raising funds for Autism Speaks through a 10cent donation for each bunny sold in 2014 up to $100,000! You will notice the package by the little blue puzzle piece.
The bunny ears are adorable. Judah likes wearing them around and pretending he is the Easter Bunny, but generally makes his daddy wear them. It’s a lot of fun and also means something to us since our son is Autistic and the support towards Awareness means more understanding and acceptance in communities where it matters most for our children.
The other day I was looking at a few of Lindt’s New Easter chocolates and they reminded me of a garden. I happened to find this little wooden basket on a dollar shelf at Target (who sells the Lindt Gold Bunnies by the way) and it was shaped like a tiny garden! Judah and I picked up the basket, a set of $1 sticker felt flowers and brought it home. We made a little garden for our family of Gold Bunnies that sits on the table. Here’s what we used:
- New Lindt Carrot Box: Milk Chocolate hollow Sheep, Baby chick, hazelnut crisp Bugs & Bees, hazelnut crisp Chocolate Carrots and LINDOR Milk Chocolate eggs.
- LINDOR Milk Chocolate Mini Egg Bag: For little eggs to hide in the garden.
- Lindt Gold Bunny: 7oz
- Lindt Gold Bunny: 3.5oz
- New Lindt Gold Bunny All Ears: The Gold Bunny 1.7oz.
