It’s no secret that we’re a pet loving family. It’s pretty obvious when you walk into our house and you’re immediately greeted by 3 dogs. Walk a little further into the house, and you’ll find a cat and a ferret too!
When we first got Max last year, hubby and I told each other we would do everything different with him. He would be the best dog we’ve had – and so far that’s held true, for the most part. He has his quirks, but he’s a good, loyal and loving dog.
Fast forward a year and he’s grown tremendously. He’s huge! And he loves to get on the bed and just hog the whole thing!
My husband has spent a lot of time with Max. He’s taught him many tricks and it started when he was just a puppy. He would grab a handful of treats and sit on the floor. Then he’d tell Max to sit, give paw, other paw, speak, (lie) down, and finally roll over. Of course these tricks were taught one by one, but now today, Max can do each of these tricks in sequence. But get this, we don’t have to tell him! As my husband was teaching Max these tricks, he used hand signals for each of them along with his voice. We just have to snap our fingers and give hand signals for each of the tricks now. It’s actually quite amusing and shows what a really smart dog we’ve raised!
Now when we do tricks, some of Max’s favorite treats are of the Beggin? brand. So I was pretty excited to hear that Sam’s Club now offers a Beggin? Party Pack, which contains members’ favorite varieties – Bacon flavor, Bacon & Cheese flavor and Collisions: Bacon & Cheeseburger. We no longer have to sit in the aisle and decide which one to get him, because now all three 14oz bag varieties are available in a party pack! Trust me, you’d be thrilled too if you had to stand in the pet aisle with my hubby!
I know I talked only about Max here, but believe me, the other dogs get their fair share of love, training and treats too. All 3 of those boys will be super excited when I bring home that Beggin? Party Pack and I’m already thinking that one won’t be enough!
