We really like chips in my family. All kinds and with different dips. I like plain chips with french onion dip and I also really love chips and salsa! Since I have tried what seems like dozens of chips over the years I was seriously intrigued by the first every tortilla chip to be verified by the Non-GMO project from RW Garcia. Their tortatos is half tortilla and half potato chip so it had to be tasty since it is combining two yummy things. I was not disappointed!
The idea for Tortatos began with a simple question from a young member of the RW Garcia family: Why isn?t there a tortilla chip that tastes like a potato chip? It was a question that intrigued Robert and Margaret Garcia, founders of the family-owned-and-operated leading maker of artisan corn-based snacks, and now they have provided an answer two years in the making: Tortatos, the first-ever half tortilla, half potato chips, that are on store shelves across the country.

They are nice and crunchy and full of flavor. Both my girls loved eating them too! I tried original in french onion dip, salt & pepper with hummus and I ate the BBQ ones plain. All were super yum and they did not last long in my house! I am not a salt & vinegar chip fan so I gave those to a friend and he said they were delicious.

I really like that RW Garcia is a family owned and operated artisan maker of organic and all natural corn-based snacks with manufacturing facilities in San Jose and in North Carolina. All that is left in my house is some crumbs and empty bags. I will have to make a special trip to the store for more!
