When I heard I was receiving Supergoop to try out, I will admit the name kinda scared me. I was imagining this horrible tub of sticky cream slathered all over my skin. But, to my dismay my experience was nothing like that! Before I tell you about my experience I want to tell you a little about the company.
Supergoop was founded in 2007 by Holly Thaggard. She strongly believes our skin needs to be protected 365 days out of the year, and I strongly agree! Since it’s winter here in Ohio many think their faces do not need protection, but the suns UV rays are just as strong in winter.
Supergoop is also very safe and free from any bad stuff such as-parabens, petrochemicals, and fragrances.
I received the Supergoop SPF 30 Anti-aging City Sunscreen Serum for review. The bottle is a 1.76 oz pump bottle. The first thing I noticed was that the fragrance was pretty much invisible, and since I have sensitive skin I loved that fact!
I simply applied one to two pumps to my face and neck every morning. This did not make my face feel oily, and it felt very light in weight when I rubbed it on.
I also tried the SPF 35 Daily Correct CC Cream. These two are the perfect combo! When I applied both to my face, the make-up did not feel caked on like most SPF make-ups and lotions. Plus the smell was not the ‘Sunscreen Smell.’
Another thing I like about this make-up is that it reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Sometimes when a make-up says that is does this, it gets stuck in those fine lines and wrinkles and makes them stand out…BUT this CC Cream does not do that!
The shade I received was the light-medium and it is the perfect shade for me. I have a reddish undertone to my skin and this covered that flaw completely! Totally evens my skin out!
So if you’re as worried about sun protection as I am through out the year I think you will be very please with Supergoops products. Or if you’ve used a countless number of sunscreens and moisturizers try switching to these, many have commented on how they will never switch back…and I totally agree!
