Marvel makes history again with one of the greatest Heroic team ups in the universe. Hulk’s brute strength and Tony Stark’s high-tech intellect come together to create a powerful duo necessary to face off against one of the most dangerous enemies.

With a four year old boy in the house and a comic book nerd for a husband, it’s not a surprise we’re a big fan of the Marvel animated movies. Sonshine is a big fan of all The Avengers characters so when I told him there was a movie starring just The Hulk and Iron Man, I thought his wide baby blues might just pop out of his head! And when I put the Blu-Ray on, I’ve rarely heard him so quiet! In fact, both my son and husband have begged me to watch the movie day after day!

Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United is a full side story featuring the big green guy and the tech-savvy millionaire. Available on both DVD and Blu-Ray, the movie runs a full 71 minutes and has extra content, like Marvel “Inter-Missions” and my personal favorite, the ever hysterical Marvel Mash-Up.

Heroes United brings together an unlikely duo, the raging, need to smash now Hulk with the ladies-man, philanthropist, Iron Man to defeat Zzzax. Zzzax is an energy devouring creature that siphons  gamma radiation from The Hulk and his archenemies, The Abomination.  With the impending threat of Zzzax draining the planet of all its electricity, The Hulk, although smart in his own way, needs Tony’s intellect, while Tony needs Hulk’s brute strength to defeat not just Zzzax, but scary Wendigos and even HYDRA robots! Along with nail biting, suspenseful fight scenes (like Hulk against the Wendigos) the movie is full of humor and puns. Did I forget to mention the fact that Iron Man modifies a Hulk Smasher suit for The Hulk to wear? My little guy was so excited to see an Iron Hulk as he called it!

Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United is a perfect side story to those who already love the Marvel Avengers CGI animated series. With the holidays in full swing, this movie, available December 3, 2013 and rated PG makes the perfect gift or stocking stuffer for the Marvel fan in your life.
