As you’re all well aware, I live in a house full of boys. They’re all in their tween and teen years too, so that means they often cook for themselves. Which is a good thing – most of the time. But what boys don’t seem to realize is they’re not supposed to let the food drip all over the oven or its door. This is what my oven looked like last week. It was a mess!
Since the holidays are right around the corner, I needed to get to cleaning. I grabbed some EASY-OFF? while I was at Walmart because I had used it before, with great results. So I put it to the test again on cleaning not only the oven, but the door as well. I just sprayed it on, waited for around 5 minutes, grabbed a sponge and wiped it up.
In just minutes all of the grease and grime was gone. What was left was an oven free of all the messy stuck on foods and dripped grease. Now it’s all ready for my holiday baking, which starts just after Thanksgiving – yikes!
So now that I’ve got you here, I should tell you about this one time – just a little oven mishap I had. I was baking a pizza and it wasn’t the frozen kind. It was one of the fresh take and bake ones. So I threw it in the oven after it had pre-heated, set the time and checked it after about 5 minutes just to see how it was doing since it was the first time I had ever cooked that type of pizza. Well the sides had all slid down and cheese was dripping all over the oven. It was such a mess! Well lucky for me, now I have EASY-OFF? in case that ever happens again!
