Our pets are a part of our families and sadly more often that not, the pets are forgotten when it comes to gift giving. Pets need love an attention as well as toys to stimulate play and to help keep them active and young feeling.
When this generous package arrived for our dogs from Petco, I was in awe. I expected perhaps a couple of toys, but instead there were well over 10, plus a candy cane shaped package of poo bags! I thought it was just wonderful because I was able to give each of the 3 pups a toy and still have some left over for their St. Nick stocking and also for Christmas.
Gunner and Max are so silly. They kept trying to take each other’s toy and had no interest in their own. Sort of like children – they want what everyone else has! So I had to separate them not only so they could each play and have fun, but also so I could actually get some photos.
You should have seen them, even alone. They were flailing around just loving their new toys. It was nearly impossible to get a clear shot of either of them! But I did manage to get this cute one of Gunner.
Now Max, he is crazy with toys – it’s quite hilarious. He can’t even sit in one area, let alone one spot. I had to chase him all over snapping photos like crazy. But he gets so into it, he moves super fast and every single shot was super blurry. I found it quite fitting that the photo below is the one decent shot I got.
I think the photo speaks for itself – and yes, he is in fact laying on the chair/ottoman with his legs sprawled like a frog!
My 3 boys had so much fun with their toys from Petco and I can’t wait to give them the rest. They have such an adorable assortment like the stuffed headless turkey and the turkey drumstick. The little fox and Santa are quite cute too – as with all the rest. The toys are a mix between sqeeky and crinkly and the pooches are just loving them up!
But Petco is more that a store for just dogs! You can get kitty toys, ferret toys, bird toys – you name it! They even sell small pets like ferrets and lizards if you’re thinking of adding to your pet family for Christmas!
