As I mentioned in September, I’m a 2013 Sprint Ambassador. Of course that means testing out all sorts of neat little tech gadgets and today I’ve got some great ones to share with you! In fact one of them is so cool that I’m not even the tester. My husband is because he claimed it as his own the second it arrived. I say he’s lucky to have such a generous wife!
The Moto X is one of the latest and greatest smartphones Sprint offers that features 4G technology, 1.7 GHz dual-core application processor and touchless control – among many other great features. It has a large 4.7 inch screen and up to 13 hours of continuous talk battery life.
Like I said, my husband snagged the Moto X up the second it arrived, so he’s been using and testing it for the past month. He’s a roofer, so he travels all across the area. He likes the voice control because he can talk to the phone while he’s driving and use the GPS to figure out where he’s going. There’s no need to stop and type it in, which saves him a lot of time.
He and I both love the Quick Capture option on the camera. You can click anywhere on the screen and it will capture your photo. This is very convenient for when he has to take photos on the roof for customers. I take a lot of photos when we’re on the go and in stores, so I often use his phone since it’s much easier and quicker than mine.
The display is nice and vibrant, so game play is great on it. The ultra slim design makes it easy to hold in your hands, unlike larger, bulkier phones. It’s also got live backgrounds and you can choose which one you want. He currently has lightning bolts and they look pretty cool!
The other item I received is the fitbit flex. It’s a wireless activity and sleep wristband, so you can track your steps, calories burned and hours of sleep each night. You can set daily goals and there are LED lights to show how you’re doing on your goal each day. I was actually quite surprised by the number of steps I take in an average day, even when just walking around at home!
Each set comes with a large and small wristband so it can better fit your particular wrist size. The little fitbit gadget slips in and out easily and fits right into the end of the charger as well. The best part is, you can even wear it in the shower – how convenient!
