Technology becomes more advanced every day and companies are always bringing out new things to make our lives easier. I’m a busy mom and full time blogger among many other hats that I wear on a daily basis, so I welcome it! I recently heard about the new DS6670-6C from VTech and boy that is totally up my alley! You see it’s a cordless phone with 5 handsets, but that’s not all – oh no sir-y! This phone comes equipped with a hands free headset that you can use for the home phone or connect it to your cell! The Connect to Cell technology allows you to pair two different cell phones, so you’ll never miss a call when your cell phone isn’t by your side.
This is by far one of the greatest things I’ve come across in awhile. I’m busy at my computer for 8-12 hours a day. Any phone calls that come in during that time are pretty much interrupting my day. But now with the DS6670-6C, that’s all changed. Now I can answer a call, use the headset and still have my hands free to type or shoot photos. No more using speaker phone when I’m on a conference call either – love it!
Whether I’m cooking dinner, helping with homework, shooting photos for a recipe or whatever else I may be doing, I can do that all while talking on the phone. It’s wonderful and will hopefully make me take the extra time to call the people in my life.
Since I can connect my cell, I don’t have to worry about missing a call because it’s in the other room. It happens all the time, trust me! Now I can just leave it wherever it lies and not have to worry if someone will call.
Each handset had their own base that plugs in, so we can have a phone in 5 rooms of the house. Our house is 2200 square feet of odd layout, so it used to take a minute to run through the house when the phone rang. But not anymore, because each room had a handset/base and there’s even one in two of the bedrooms!
