Video games are a huge part of my household. I’m pretty sure that is due to the fact that boys are around 24/7 and let’s face it – that’s what boys do. They’re all about snack and video game time and they’re all super pumped for Xbox One. In fact, that’s on their Christmas wish lists this year!
They’re all racing fans, so they’re anticipating the release of Forza 5 for Xbox One. We all know gaming is better with M, so I decided to grab them Forza 4 and some M&Ms at Walmart this past week so they could get their game on!
Since every family game night needs snacks, I decided to make a fun snack mix with popcorn, cheddar penguin crackers and Pretzel M&Ms – the perfect combo!
I set all sorts of yummy snacks on the coffee table including the snack mix, Doritos, M&Ms and cheddar penguin crackers. I knew they’d enjoy the feast and appreciate some snacks just for their game night! All I asked for in return were some photos of the fun and of course they obliged!
This is totally something that only a blogger would understand, but I was so excited to use these little dishes that I had bought on clearance, because I thought they would be great for food photos. They ended up being perfect for small candy like M&Ms and small crackers!
The dogs always want to be a part of everything that we’re doing and gaming is not excluded. Or maybe it was the table full of food? Either way, they were there, playing in puppy style!
The boys all had a great time during their game night and thought it was awesome that I was actually encouraging them to play video games!
