Gravity Falls is one of my son’s most favorite television series. Written by a former writer for The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, it is a very quirky and clever show. The story follows Dipper and Mabel, 12 year old fraternal twins, that are dropped off for summer vacation at their Great Uncle Stan’s in Gravity Falls. They soon find that the town is not at all what it seems to be and after finding a mysterious book in the forest, things start to get really interesting.

My teen said that the reason he and all his friends are really into it is because there is all sorts of hidden things in the series. Whether it is symbols or codes that you have to decipher, it really draws the watcher in and makes you a part of the show. We’re both big fans now and he’s been bringing me up to date and sharing with me things he and his friends have found out! It is definitely extraordinary!
