Having a large family means we are always trying to come up with things to do as a family and also keep 4 of the 5 kids entertained, ecspecially on the weekends or those quiet weeknights. One thing we started doing in our house a few years ago was establish a family game night. When we first started, our Friday nights were dedicated to spending time as a family and enjoying a lot of our favorite games. A game that has always been a favorite of mine, has now become a family favorite as well and that game is Monopoly from Hasbro.
Over the years, I have been many different versions of Monopoly and I have truly enjoyed them all. Right now, our family is hooked on Monopoly Empire.
Over the weekend, we had some icky weather and all of the kids we stuck inside so they decided it was a good time to play a game of Monopoly Empire togther. The kids really like this version because they get to buy and sell some of their favorite brands like XBOX, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, EA and sooo much more.
In this version of Monopoly, you buy up your favorite mega brands and add them to your billboard tower, collect rent from your opponents based on your billboard and be the first to complete your town to win the game.
Right now in the kids battle, Libby is the reigning champion however, when we play as a family, Mommy always wins!
