My teen loves this show and I always hear him snickering with the delight of a 16 year old boy when watching. The Regular Show is really popular with his age group and he loves the off the wall sense of humor and (in some episodes) morbid comedy of Mordecai and Rigby’s world. The animation reminds me of other offbeat comedies like Courage the Cowardly Dog and the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, both of which showcase estranged realities.

The Regular Show is a little crazy at times, but I honestly think it is one of the best animated cartoons on Cartoon Network. It is oddball funny, witty and all over a wacky show that is smart. Many shows these days try too hard to have controversial amusement or just off kilter, but The Regular Show really pulled it off with finding that middle ground. Although I am personally not sure I would recommend it to toddlers or anything, it is a great animation that I can watch with my teen and have a fun time!
