I am very excited about today’s review. It’s from a candy brand that I have seen quite often since I started blogging. Today, I’m happy to announce that I got to try See’s Candies – yay for me!

At first glance of their website, I couldn’t decide what I wanted. There was just so much deliciousness to choose from. I swear, I wanted it all! But, since I can’t be a candy hoarder {for health and sanity reasons, lol}, I narrowed it down to three boxes of decadent yumminess. I chose the 1 lb Pecan Buds, 1 lb Milk Chocolate Nuts and Chews and the ever popular Peanut Brittle.
The day my candy arrived, I was like a kid in a candy store – literally. I just couldn’t wait to dive in! I gathered the boxes, snapped some photos, then opened the boxes so that we could all sample the flavors. We dug into the 1 lb Milk Chocolate Nuts and Chews first. I took the box around for everyone in the house to try a piece. My cousin was in town and she couldn’t decide which one to try first, so I let her take two. Of course that led to a Domino effect, so Lil Man and The Man each wanted another. After everyone had grabbed a piece {or two}, I finally dug my grubby little paws in there and grabbed a piece. The piece I chose was rich caramel and nougat with peanuts covered in rich milk chocolate – simply divine!
Of course, I sampled a few more over the days and let my family join in to try some more. The overall consensus was that they were amazing. I can honestly say that See’s Candies has some of the best chocolate that I have ever tasted in my life!
The day that I finally dug into the box of Pecan Buds, I swear I had 7 people drooling over my shoulder – just waiting for a taste. Now you may think that all chocolate covered caramel and pecans are created the same. Well I’m here to tell you that they certainly are not! The Pecan Buds from See’s Candies were simply amazing. The caramel was light and creamy, the chocolate just the right richness and the pecans tasted like they were straight from the shell.
See’s Candies Pecan Buds are by far the best I have ever had! You should know, that means a lot coming from me because chocolate covered pecans and caramel candies happen to be my ultimate favorite. I’ve been known to receive packages and boxes of them for my birthdays and holidays, so that really tells a lot. If you like that variety as much as I do, then you have got to give the Pecan Buds from See’s Candies a taste. I have to warn you though, you may never go back to another brand!
Lastly, we tried the Peanut Brittle. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a shot of that because it was gone so fast. I suppose that tells enough because it was obviously quite good! It had the perfect blend of peanuts and buttery goodness!
Since it’s back to school season, we know what that means. The dreaded school fundraisers full of expensive and somewhat useless stuff. I cringe anytime my kids start a fundraiser because I know that we’ll have a hard time getting enough sales to really make a difference. But lucky for us, See’s Candies offers fundraising too! I know I will be letting my son’s school know about it at their next PTO meeting!
