Oh yes, that dreaded time of year has snuck up on us again. Soon to pass – those fun filled summer days and long summer nights. Then it’s back to the daily grind of waking up early, schedules and school. But before all of that can begin, we’ll all be reaching deep into our pockets to purchase new supplies, clothing and shoes.
With our full house, I’m a mama on a budget and I never like to spend more than I have to. However, I still want quality clothes and shoes that will last my kids through the year – and the kids want those name brands. That’s why we do a lot of our back to school shopping at stores like Kohl’s. They’ve usually got a great sale going on and they offer the brands that my kids love.
I shopped online for back to school footwear at Kohl’s and was able to get both of my boys shoes and even a pair of sandals for my brother for just over $100. I have to say, I was quite proud of my frugal abilities with that task, because I’ve never been able to do that with brand name shoes before! The awesome deals at Kohl’s sure helped me stick with my budget though!
Lil Man chose a pair of Skechers, which happens to be my personal favorite brand of athletic shoe. Big Bro chose a pair of Tony Hawk and I chose a pair of Nike sandals for my brother.
The younger boys were all giddy when their shoes arrived and couldn’t wait to put them on. However, they know the drill with a blogging mama. Photos first – always! So while I took photos of the shoes alone, they patiently awaited their uncle’s return from work/school. Once he returned home, I was able to get a nifty little shot of all 3 of the boys’ new shoes!
The boys all love their new shoes and I love the value that I go for my money. I could have easily went elsewhere and spent the same amount for one pair. That doesn’t quite cut it with this mama, so I was thankful to have found great shoes they love for an awesome price!
Now shoes are definitely not the only thing you’ll find great deals on for back to school. They’ve got clothing, accessories and even bedding and d?cor for dorm rooms! It’s pretty much a one stop spot for your back to school needs!
