I absolutely love taking photos and I am always carrying my camera around with me, but didn’t have a bag for it. It usually ends up awkwardly placed in an everyday fabric bag with other items I am bring to the event or in my purse. Neither place is great for my expensive camera (which I saved 3 years to buy!).
It seems all the camera bags I have liked have been really girly. Girly is great for me, not so much for my husband, who ends up carrying a lot of my stuff! Lowepro’s Photo Sport Shoulder Bag for Women is designed for women, but still looks “manly” enough for him to carry!
The inside bag for the camera is padded to protect the camera. You can also pull out the padded bag (velcro tabs inside) and just carrying the camera.

I don’t like carrying a camera bag, a purse, and a bag with kid “stuff” to keep them entertained. This allows me to leave my purse at home, as there is room for my phone, wallet and even my water bottle! I LOVE it!
