Summer is in full swing and I swear, this has been the hottest week so far! Whether we’re siting inside, swimming at the beach or playing some football in the yard, it’s important to keep my family hydrated during this trecherous heat wave that we seem to be going through. We’ve been on the lake a few times and each time we’re boating or swimming, I make sure to bring a coolor full of ice and beverages like?Coca Cola products?– even though we can just come right back home. Cold drinks are essential to have on hand because I couldn’t imagine watching someone pass out from heat exhaustion. That would definitely not be cool!

Hydration is just as important as the fuel that food gives us and dehydration is not a chance that I’m willing to take. I’ve been there before – at a NKOTB concert when I was about 12 years old. I suffered from heat exhaustion because I didn’t have enough fluids going through my body. I spent a few hours in a little medical tent. Let’s just say that kind of ruined the whole concert experience for me!
