publisher will also offer free access to new favorites at www.sylvandellpublishing.com.
For tablet readers all of Sylvan Dell’s enhanced eBooks will be 99
cents on the Kindle and iBooks stores from May 12th through the 18th.To
spark a love of reading and an appreciation for science and the natural
world around us is the foundation on which Sylvan Dell was built. Each
of the authors has an interest in sharing this love with children; meet
one of these dedicated authors in your city.
I have read several Sylvan Dell books now and I must say they are all well written. Each one is written perfectly for its target age group. Big Sis is 4.5 years old and I fully believe she is learning when I read these books to her. She will grab these off the shelf before many of her fiction books. She is constantly asking questions about the books and if we are out and about and we see something that we read in one of the books she will always bring it up. I am a firm believer as a mom and a librarian that reading to children every day while they are young really does help their mind for the future.
These are not textbooks but books to be enjoyed and loved that just happen to be non-fiction. Get your kids excited about reading and with it being Children’s Book Week the perfect time now.

You really need to see the quality of Sylvan Dell Books in person to truly appreciate them. They are some of the highest quality books I have ever read and as a Librarian that is saying a lot. The pages and nice and thick with a nice finish to them that makes them harder to tear. I am in love with the fact that there are always bonus activities in the backs of the books and even more available online.
Here is just one of the normal pages:

About Sylvan Dell PublishingSylvan Dell is on a mission
to improve child literacy with science and math through fictional
picture books. Using prose and pictures, children are delighted with
stories of their favorite animals, planets, or even place. This leads to
the exploration of facts and learning activities in each book’s For Creative Minds
pages. Sylvan Dell carefully designs each book to portray accurately
the chosen subject. Vetted by experts in that field, and aligned to
common core and state standards; each book is a unique asset to
educational programs. Sylvan Dell has grown to include more than 80
authors and illustrators, and honored to have won more than 70 book
awards since its inception in 2005.
You will not be dissappointed in the quality of these books. I just love sharing my love for reading with my girls every single day.
