It’s that time of year when everywhere you look you see a garage sale, and if you’re anything like me I can’t resist. I am in the process of redecorating my house, so I am always on the look out for little niki naks (sorry that’s what I call them). When I see something little that would look perfect on a shelf next to a picture, I grab it.
So I want to share with you my latest find! Now, I’ll warn you this niki nak is a little scary, but I saw the potential in it.
Here is my scary RED Eyed Bunny. I don’t know about you but if I saw this thing glaring at me, I would have night mares. I was thinking of ways to tame this little guy down and this is what I came up with.
Here’s what you need:
Old ugly/scary niki nak
Can of spray paint
It took a good 4-6 coats to get the consistency I wanted.
So what do you think? Would you add this little guy to your home decor, I sure would! I am very happy with how he turned out…the best part is he was so very inexpensive! A few dollars for the spray paint and I found him at a garage sale for $.25!
Total cost-$2.25
I just had to show you, how he looks in my home! He’s much more vibrant and soft looking, rather than scary and scary!
