DIAL has just come out with some new fun Body + Hair washes for kids and I was delighted to try them out with my boys, especially my tot. That poor little guy seems to be allergic to everything and is always trying to get us to buy the fancy bright colored shampoos he sees at the store. Unfortunately, most of them are not hypoallergenic. I was really excited to see how the bottles for the kids were fun and had witty names like, Peachy Clean, Berry Cool and Watery Melon; yes, they do smell as sweet as they sound! It is the little touches like this that share the fun of bathtime with kids.
- The Peachy Clean Tear-Free Body + Hair wash is for ages 2+. It does have a light fragrance of peaches, but contains no artificial dyes, is hypoallergenic and contains no added parabens. As they were all designed by Pediatric Dermatologists, they are very easy on tender skin. My tot, who is extremely sensitive to many body washes, hadn’t had any issues with this 2-in-1 and always smelled so much like summer peach pie coming out of the tub!
- The Berry Cool and Watery Melon are both designed for 6+. However, they are also Tear-Free and Hypoallergenic as well! Which is something you don’t see in most kid washes. I never quite understood that as young ones are just beginning to learn how to take baths and showers by themselves and it is at this age that they start getting the shampoo in their eyes and freak out about washing their hair. I am sure it was not just my first child that did this! The scents are very light and not overpowering, just strong enough for kids to have a lot of fun smelling like berries and melons (which is a wonderful change from other smells).
Another exciting thing about the DIAL 2-in1 washes for kids is that they have some super bubbles! It was a lot of fun filling up a tub full of smelly sweet bubbles to wash up in. Any kid could have a bubble bath, but with these new DIAL Body + Hair washes you can have a Berry Bubble Bath or a Peachy Clean Car Wash (that was my tot’s idea)!
