REMBRANDT? was the discovery of cosmetic dentist and whitening pioneer,
Dr. Robert Ibsen. His goal was to provide his patients with effective
whitening power that would help fix the stains and scratches on their
teeth. He couldn?t find anything on the market that served this purpose,
so he headed to his lab and created REMBRANDT?, the first whitening
toothpaste.
Spring is here (at least here in the South) so that means warmer weather and spring cleaning in the house and in my wardrobe. To match my flip flops, shorts and bathing suits I would love to pair it with a nice white smile. Even as a young child I have never had the super white teeth others seem to have. Perhaps it is genetic. It is genetic that I had several permanent teeth missing as well as a whole heap of other dental issues growing up. I did get my teeth professionally whitened at my dentist’s office for my wedding 8 years ago and it turned out gorgeous but I don’t have the money for anything like that now. So I got super excited when Rembrandt sent me some toothpaste and whitening strips to try out. My teeth could always be a few shades whiter.
I used the toothpaste and whitening strips over the course of 3 weeks. I did like that the toothpaste had a very minty taste and smell to it. I like to use mint toothpaste because it always makes my mouth feel so clean after brushing. In terms of daily use my teeth always felt clean after brushing with the toothpaste.
The strips were super simple to use. I just put them on my teeth and they dissolved for me at about 10 minutes. Sometimes if a small spot of the gel stuff did not dissolve I would gently wipe it off. I liked that I could just put these on and go and not have to make time to brush all the goo off afterwards.
It is important to note that not all teething whitening products are the same. Rembrandt Intense has flouride that I personally like to use because it is good for enamel. Here is some more information on their products.
How REMBRANDT? Works
The illustrations below explain how our key REMBRANDT? ingredients work
Our rapid-release peroxide penetrates deep to effectively whiten teeth. The image below illustrates how this process works.
As you can see in the diagram above, our rapid-release peroxide works on contact to release deep stains inside teeth, visibly whitening your smile.
You can find our rapid-release peroxide in REMBRANDT? products such as DEEPLY WHITE? + Peroxide Whitening Mouthwash, DEEPLY WHITE? + Peroxide Fresh Mint Toothpaste, DEEPLY WHITE? + Peroxide Winter Mint Toothpaste and our DEEPLY WHITE? 2 Hour Whitening Kit.
Fluoride is another important part of the REMBRANDT? process. The image below illustrates how Fluoride works to strengthen teeth.
As you can see in the diagram above, Fluoride penetrates the tooth enamel beyond the outer surface. Fluoride is an anti-cavity agent that strengthens teeth and restores tooth enamel, making them more resistant to acid.
REMBRANDT? Fluoride can be found in these products: DEEPLY WHITE? + Peroxide Whitening Mouthwash, DEEPLY WHITE? + Peroxide Fresh Mint Toothpaste, DEEPLY WHITE? + Peroxide Winter Mint Toothpaste, Gentle White Toothpaste and INTENSE STAIN? Toothpaste. Our REMBRANDT? whitening products feature the same enamel-safe ingredients dentists use
Since I look at my teeth every single day I can not tell you for certain that my teeth are whiter from the products but my teeth felt clean and might have been a hint whiter after 3 weeks of use. After using these products for the last few weeks I do feel more confident with my smile and that is what will look best with my sundresses and flip flops this Spring.
