Living in a house full of nothing but boys, someone is always watching TV. 90% of the time, they watch things that I don’t want to watch. The big boys watch sports, Gorey shows and stupid comedies, the ones that are only funny because of their stupidity. The younger ones watch cartoons and those geeky tween shows.
Last year, we got a new TV for the living room, so thankfully our old one went into my bedroom. Score 1 for mom! Now I can sit in my room and watch the shows that I want, anytime of day or night on a nice 42″ TV. I don’t have to worry about arguing with someone over the remote, or even arguing period so nobody wants to come in and watch chick flicks with me!
For Christmas, we decided that it would be nice to get the big boys a new TV for their room since they were using the old school TV that my dad used to have in the living room. My husband did some research and read some reviews so that he made sure to get them a good TV, one that could handle all the video gaming and such. It was quite funny, because we got the little boys a used dirt bike for Christmas, so the big boys were heading out there to see the look on the littler boys’ faces when they seen it. They were so into that, they didn’t even notice a big box with a TV in it right next to them. Their faces when they realized were priceless! Needless to say, I think everyone really enjoyed their Christmas last year!
