I had my first son pretty young. I got pregnant during a time in my life when I was finally starting to set goals and I had big plans for my future. I had recently received my GED and had plans to go back to school soon. I wanted to study psychology because I wanted to help others with their problems since my life growing up was an emotional roller coaster.
Well, I got pregnant and plans changed. I wanted to be home with my son, and then with my second. I couldn’t imagine someone else raising them, a complete stranger at a daycare since we didn’t have family who would help out. My job was mommy, number one. I wouldn’t change it for anything because I have such a bond with my boys. I love my “mommy” role.
Now that I’m older and they’re older, the thought of going back to school is often on my mind. Of course, my carer choice has changed through the years though. Blogging has made me grow in so many ways and now I want to work on the other side of things. I want to work with the brands, finding great bloggers and running campaigns to spread the word about great new products.
