I had the chance to review one of the Green CS6519-14 Cordless Phone with Caller ID/Call Waiting and it couldn’t have come at a better time. You see, we bundles our internet with cable awhile back and a home phone line came within the package. Well in this day and age in technology, it has been years since we had a home phone line and all of our phones are long gone. I live and breath through my smartphone, so I would always forget to pick up a phone for the house anytime that I was at the store. Silly, I know!
When my new phone arrived, I was excited to take it out of the package and check it out. I was immediately surprised at how small it was, perfect size for your hand! Nothing like the bulkier phones that I was used to say 10 years ago. Yes, it really had been that long!
The base is nice and sleek as well, so it doesn’t take up a lot of room. In fact, ours sits right next to my computer tower and it’s not in the way one bit. It actually looks kind of cool too!
I’m sure what you’re really wondering is how well it works though. I have to say, I think it works great! I can travel anywhere in our 2200 sq ft house and get awesome reception. I even took it outside to take out the trash and it worked just as well out there too.
The numbers are the perfect size for my thumbs and they even beep when you push them, so there is no wondering if you actually hit that number. I love that it has Caller ID right on the handset too because I am known to screen my calls since I am not a big fan of talking on the phone!
