To me, nothing says Family and Holidays like The Swiss Colony. One of my best holiday memories, is that my mom would open our house up to anyone and everyone. If you had no where to go…..you came to our house. Over the years, it became tradition to several guests, as well as what they brought my mom……Swiss Colony sausage, cheese, truffles and nuts.
Another holiday tradition for me and my family is our local Pentecostal church would sell peanut brittle. If you didn’t buy it Thanksgiving weekend, you would have to wait a whole year. It was the best. My mother always bought a package for us and one for my grandfather (for Christmas). Of course Grandpa would buy his own stash and hide it so he could enjoy it for months! I loved it when I would find his stash!
Imagine my joy when I was lucky enough to review The Swiss Colony’s Peanut Brittle. I was so excited when my package arrived, that I couldn’t resist the urge to dive right in. I was not disappointed. The Swiss Colony’s Peanut Brittle was delicious! Notice I said was…..it didn’t last long in my house.

Like several Swiss Colony products, the peanut brittle came in a cute decorative tin. The tin allows you to top it with a bow or ribbon and your gift is wrapped! The tin can be used over and over again and adds to the holiday spirit.
