Can you believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow? I sure can’t! Where has this year gone?
I know people everywhere will be hitting the stores to start {or finish} their holiday shopping on Friday. But, I want to remind you not to forget to shop small on Saturday to support your local businesses!
My sister, husband and I will be heading out to check out some of the shops in our little village on Small Business Saturday. I’m quite excited because I haven’t had a chance to stop in very many of them yet, plus my sister has never shopped Small Business Saturday before! There’s a music store that I want to hit up for Big Bro and I’d like to hit up the flower shop for a festive holiday wreath or centerpiece.
My sister wants to check out this awesome little pet shop that she hasn’t stopped into yet. It’s a pretty cool shop. They have all sorts of toys and leashes for dogs and cats, but they have gifts for dog and cat lovers too. They have a whole gift section with photo frames, coffee mugs, key chains, rugs and all sorts of other neat little gift ideas.
There are a few other little shops I’d like to check out too. Then after all of that shopping, we’ll either grab a cup from the local coffee shop or perhaps a bite to eat for the local restaurant that she works at. That restaurant used to be the Inn for our village way back in the day and it’s said to be haunted!
