Growing up as a kid, E.T was one of my absolute favorite movies. I would watch it over and over, never getting sick of it. E.T. is a timeless classic, full of wonder and love. I’m sure most people fell in love with that strange little alien!
I was so excited when I heard that E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial was coming out on Blu-ray. I was so excited to share this amazing movie with my own children and really couldn’t believe that neither of them had watched it before. How could I have never shared this amazing story with them? Well, thankfully I had the chance now!
When our copy arrived in the mail, I could not wait for the kids to get home from school! I was not only excited for myself to see this movie again, but I was looking forward to them seeing it too. Of course it goes without saying, they absolutely loved it. Lil Man may have shed a tear or two, he just thought it was so sad. I’d have to agree though, as I often shed a tear or two as well.
Whether you’ve already seen E.T. or will watch it for the first time, I definitely think it’s a must see love for families everywhere. The Blu-ray has bonus features such as deleted scenes and a look back special insider’s look into the making of the movie.
