My family and I recently received 3 varieties of Gimbal’s candy to sample.
Gimbal’s Fine Candies products AND facilities are free of the eight most common food allergens (tree nuts, milk, egg, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish), eliminating the risk of cross contamination. While the candy does contain corn syrup (no HFCS) and food dyes, I appreciate knowing that they are an allergy safe treat.
The jelly beans were tasty & reminded me of another big-name “gourmet jelly bean.”
My favorite of the cherry lovers was the cherry cola flavor. These would be fun to use on Valentine’s Day cupcakes.
The sour candies were deliciously tart gummies. My favorite flavor was grapefruit, closely followed by the watermelon.
The company makes Gourmet Jelly Beans, Sour Gourmet Jelly Beans, Cherry Lovers?, Honey Lovers?, Sour Lovers?, All Natural Licorice Scotties?, and chewy cinnamon LavaBalls? (I would love to try these!) All are certified kosher pareve by the Orthodox Union and are made in the USA. 10-14 oz bags have an MSRP of $4.29 each.
