My name is Katrina and I have recently joined the team here at Outnumbered 3 to 1. I will be writing about outdoor adventures family style. As part of the team here I will also be bringing you reviews from some awesome companies and brands out there.
Ever since a now infamous hurricane made its way through the Southeastern United States several years ago no one has any trouble remembering my name. In fact back in the day my parents named me after a hurricane. There was a Hurricane Katrina 30 some odd years ago and my parents thought it was a nice name. So truth be told I was named after a hurricane and because of one no one really forgets my name.

My wonderful husband, Matt, is my college sweetheart (Go Gators!). He is an attorney and I am a part-time librarian. Together we have Big Sis who at 3 is extremely strong willed and very adventurous and Lil Sis who even at 10 months old is much more calm and thoughtful. They are our October babies with birthdays only 6 days apart from each other. Our oldest has Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) which has become a part of our daily life.
Before kids my husband and I could be found backpacking through Europe, kayaking, hiking, attending sporting events or any number of things involving us getting up and going.

After kids we have found ourselves appreciating outdoor fun but on a different level. Since both of our girls are still so young we stick to a lot of backyard fun, hanging poolside, beach and local attractions. Just because we have kids does not mean we stay inside. We are also extremely active in watersports such as tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and general boating.

We also enjoy garage sale and bargain shopping, hunting, fishing and even gator hunting although it is not nearly as exciting as it is on the show Swamp People. We live in Florida so there are so many different things to do that are family friendly. From theme parking to snorkeling we love to do it all.
I will be sharing with you anything from the best back yard bubble mix to the best time of the year to hit Disney World and the best way to avoid the lines.
