Most of you know that my wedding was on a budget. There are a lot of things I did myself, from flowers to decorations and more. One of the things that I really wanted was a little “photo prop” area with a picture frame, silly glasses, lips and all that fun stuff. I thought the guests would get a kick out of it! Well, guess what? My sister and I did the props ourselves! And as you can see above the kids {and even some adults} loved them!
Supplies needed:
- Foam sheets
- Pencil or pen
- Scissors
- Utility Knife
- Hot glue gun & sticks
- Skewers, pointy end cut off {like for shishkabobs}
1. Find templates online and print them out.
2. Cut out the templates.
3. Trace the templates onto foam sheets.
4. Cut the new foam templates out with a utility knife. Make sure to set the foam sheet onto a surface that you don’t mind ruining in case you cut through. We used an old phone book.
5. Gather your new foam templates, skewers and glue gun.
6. Dab a small about of hot glue onto the back side of the foam.
7. Press and hold skewer to foam to make the ‘handle’.
Voila! And there you have it, DIY foam props!
