I have lived in Wisconsin almost my entire life except for a couple of very short stays in Indiana with my dad’s side of the family. If given the choice, I honestly don’t think that I would ever leave Wisconsin. It’s full of beautiful land, rich history and the Milwaukee area has a lot of wonderful events year round.
One of the many things that I look forward to each and every Summer is the Wisconsin State Fair. It’s at the beginning of August every year and we try to go at least once, sometimes a few times! There are so many things to see, such as the livestock, Horticulture Exhibit, Expo Center and of course the food! Who could pass up eating at least one thing in that wonderful aroma of food throughout the entire fair? Definitely not I, that’s for sure! The Wisconsin State Fair has the best food, ever.. period!
I wasn’t sure that I would be attending the Wisconsin State Fair this year because of the wedding and our honeymoon/family vacation in a week and a half. But now, thanks to Seattle’s Best Coffee and Collective Bias, the hubby and I will be there this Sunday August 5th, spending a fun day for just the two of us!
While we’re at the Wisconsin State Fair, we’ll be checking out the Red Cup Showdown at the Seattle’s Best Coffee Booth. Celebrity Chef Jeff Mauro will be there too helping Seattle’s Best Coffee search for the best new coffee drink. The winner will get $1,00 and a chance to be on the Seattle’s Best Coffee menu!
The Red Cup Showdown with Jeff Mauro will be this Sunday August 5th from 12-2 pm in the Horticulture Craft and Culinary Pavilion at the Wisconsin State Fair. We’ll be there, so stop by if you’re at the fair that day and make sure to say hi. I’d love to see you there!
