Spring is in the air and you know what that means. We finally get to have some fun in the sun! Of course, we’re celebrating bloggy style! It was 1930 when Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their talents to create a different kind of toy company. With the Great Depression looming, it may not have been the best time to launch a new business. Luckily, the whimsical nature and magical surprises of their first toys quickly caught on. And they became lasting hallmarks of Fisher-Price products.

Having a little one in the house again is oodles of fun for everyone.  Now that Ellie is rolling, scooting and paying attention to her surroundings, she is also more aware of her toys and loves to play with them.  Her new favorite toys seem to be the ones that get her laughing as they laugh along with her…the new Giggle Gang toys from Fisher-Price.
Ellie’s new friends Goldie and Curly seem to be with her constantly.  Giggle Gang toys are a fun, cuddly toy that is soft and offers different touchable textures all while giggling!  The toys respond to baby’s squeeze or shake and each one has it’s own unique giggle.
Both of these toys are her go-to toy when she is rolling around and playing on the floor.  Once they start giggling at her, she starts letting the giggles go herself!  Whenever Ellie giggles, we all giggle—so you can just imagine what our house is like now!
I love toys that introduce kids to new colors, patterns, sounds and textures and allows them to hone their sensory skills.  I also love toys that make my little one happy!
