Payless Minicci Women’s Kat Shopper Purse Review & Giveaway – Springing Into Summer Fun {CLOSED}

I’ve noticed since becoming a new-er mom, that most of my everyday items need to have some sort of function and practicality. Gone were the days of high fashion, desire, or my husband’s favorite whine from me, “Buuuuuuut.” pouty face “It’s this seasons colors!! I need it!” That last one didn’t always go over so well. Now that Sonshine is getting older and I’m getting more “mom years” under my belt, I realize, it’s all about making the needs meet with the desires and knowing that form and function can meet fashion, it’s all about compromise and knowing where to look. 

As a self-proclaimed “girly-girl”, I just adore purses. That’s why I’m so excited to tell you about the Minicci line from Payless ShoeSource! I had no idea that Payless sold anything other than shoes, so I was in for a pleasant surprise! I was sent the Woman’s Kat Shopper in White by Minicci. Also available in turquoise.  It’s fairly large, like a small diaper bag, and made from faux leather. Usually, faux leather has that sort of crinkle look to it, especially when it’s all in one color, but this is superbly made. No crinkle or broken lines, the smooth finish is designed to flow with the slouch of the purse. Without any items or fairly small ones inside, the purse is pretty slouch and bendable, making it easy to store when not in use. I gave it a good test and left is sitting on our bench in the living room, where I knew Sonshine and others would see it or “not see” it, as my boys tend to be clueless. It was sat on, shoved, pushed, scrunched up, spilled on, and just about abused in any possible way a toddler and oblivious husband could do. Poor thing. But, as you can see in the picture, it looks just as great as when it came in the mail. (Which was squished slightly in shipment and you cannot even tell!) 

The outside has a simple tassel design, to keep you looking stylish, while the top part has a nice cinch to it, so it’s not your regular one dimensional bag! Inside, you’ll find two open pockets, perfect for storing juice boxes, diapers, wipes, random toys, oh, and mom’s things as well! There is also a zippered pocket to put your more valuable items, such as a wallet and cell phone without fear of them being lost in the bottom or having someone just snatch them out when you’re not looking! And to top it off, the purse closes with a magnet, letting you simply hug it to your side while walking and still be able to reach in when the kids whine for a snack, all without missing a beat to stop and unzip it! And my most favorite feature? You can use a wet wipe or cloth on this to clean up spills or spots! I have other purses that require dry cleaning. Yeah, right, like a mom has time for that! With this purse, you’ll never have to worry about that!
