FeverAll? The Only Brand of Acetaminophen in Suppository Form
What’s a parent to do when a child can?t tolerate oral fever relief products because of vomiting, nausea, bad taste or irritability? Or when allergies to additives in liquids are a problem? The answer is FeverAll? Acetaminophen Suppositories ? fighting fever like no other product available.
To be honest, when I received this product for review, I was hoping that it would be a bit before I would actually get the chance to review it. Unfortunately, it did not take as long as anticipated as our little Ellie came down with a fever over the weekend, just hours past having turned 3 months old. After taking her temp and seeing the thermometer register 102.9 degrees, I knew I had to do something and then remembered we had received the FeverAll but it recommended consulting with our doctor before administering it at her age, so I did and was told she was now old enough to use the FeverAll we had received for review!
YAY!!!
FeverAll is acetaminophen that is in suppository form and it is a godsend when it comes to having a baby or little one in the home who can’t swallow a pill or has a hard time with liquid medications. Both my little Ellie and my now 4 year old Xander have these problems.
I remember when Xander was a little over the age of 1 and came down with a fever of 104. I did everything I could at home to try to get his fever to break but to no avail we landed ourselves in the ER where they administered a rectal suppository of acetaminophen. After that trip to the ER, I searched countless pharmacies to see if these suppositories were something I could get over the counter to have on hand for the next fever but they were nowhere to be found.
This weekend, I was glad to have FeverAll on hand because it saved us from our 2nd trip to the ER in less than 24 hours!
Within 30 minutes of dosing the little lady, her fever was gone and she was as happy as a clam once again!
FeverAll is easy to administer, comes pre-measured so you get an accurate dose every time and is available in 3 strengths for children ages 6 months to 12 years.
