I love a good”chick flick”. I’m sure if you’re a woman you can relate. There are those times when you just lie in your room or on the couch, veggin’ for the day with your chick flicks. For me it’s therapy, a little “me” time all to myself without anyone bothering me. I mean really, none of the boys in this house are gonna come watch them with me! It’s a total win for me!
I just adore Catherine Zeta-Jones and was so excited to see The Rebound. I just knew it would be epic and am very pleased to report that it was! The Rebound was a classic chick flick with the heroine trying to find a man after her husband cheated. She went through quite a few “creepers” {what I like to call strange men that are just plain weird} then finally realized Mr. Perfect was right there all along.
What I really loved about this movie is the involvement of her children. Most love stories keep them out of it, but these kids were smack dab in the middle, building the relationship right along side mom, the way I think it should be. These kids were just hilarious and had me rolling with laughter throughout the entirety of the movie!
The Rebound is one of my favorite movies so far this year and is sure to make you believe in love again, while laughter bursts from within. So grab some snacks and plan a veg out day because this is a good one!
