When I first heard about The Big Year, I was quite excited to see it. After all, it has Owen Wilson, Jack Black and Steve Martin in it! These are 3 of my favorite funny guys, so I was stoked!
Watching these three guys on their quests for their “big year” was quite entertaining. They were a perfect three-some to add humor to this “birding” venture. Each has their own silly quirkiness that you just have to love!
Personally, I really enjoyed seeing all of the different species of birds that they were in search of. In the end credits, there is a slide show of hundreds of different birds, just beautiful!
While The Big Year wasn’t roll on the floor laughter as I assumed {considering who plays in it}, it was still an awesome movie that I highly recommend. It’s not non stop laughter, just little tidbits here and there.
