Everyone who wears flip flops knows the feeling. It comes once a year, and it’s one of the saddest days we have to go through. I’m talking about the first day after summer when we realize that it’s too cold to wear flips. Sorry to bring up any bad memories, but we think we can help with the Mush Flyweights Collection. That’s right, I’m talking about the super lightweight, foot?conforming Mushiness that you thought you had to put away at the end of summer. Well?not anymore. Flip Flop lovers rejoice.

I had the wonderful pleasure of reviewing the Women’s Mush Frio Ballerina Mesh shoes. I am more of a ballerina shoe person than a flip-flip person, but most of them are made similar to dress shoes where the soles are thin and wear out easily. This was actually the first ballerina style shoe that I had ever come across that had a thicker, more durable sole made with 7mm of the softest EVA that molds into your foots unique shape. They are also very stylish.

I love these shoes. Out of all the ballerina shoes I have worn in the last seven years, Teva’s Mush Ballerina Frio Mesh shoes knock them all away. They’re incredibly comfortable, fit snug and perfect like a memory foam pillow and look fantastic in jeans. I have had to run in them, I even hiked in them once and sometimes I just slip them on in the house because they’re just that comfortable. They’re like little cushions for your heels.

If you aren’t into ballerina slippers, there are others in the Mush Flyweight collection for both men and women. However, Teva does have lots of shoes for Kids!

Although Mush is the “fun” shoe of Teva, the comfort of flip flops made into a shoe for year-round wear, it still carries in its sole the purpose and story behind the name. For every pair of Teva shoes sold in 2011 they will help protect a linear foot of global waterways in rivers, lakes and oceans. They are targeting to steward 4.3 million feet/1.3 million meters worldwide by the end of this year. Water is our life source and it’s a magnificent feeling to know that by supporting Teva, I am supporting a small part of life.
